Yes I believe in God, in the Trinity.

Misrepresenting what the verses mean is easy when you take them out of context. And by the by, most of us do give to the needy. Hey, I'm needy myself, but I still manage to give weekly to the children's shelter in Bangor Maine, and I volunteer. No I haven't sold all of my possessions, and yes I have a computer, which I use for work. I haven't sold them because I am not a bachelor without children, which is who he was speaking to in the verse.

God does not need to be proved. You will learn soon enough one way or another. Fighting others to get them to dismiss their savior is not the way to prove your point. Be content to wait until you find out for yourself.

Of course I do. But I don't attend church or read the bible but I pray and I know that there is a place we all go when we die.

Yes, I do. I honestly don't have the energy to refute all the arguments above (it's bed-time in the UK!) but they are interesting thoughts. I think torikeene has already shown that intelligent people can read the Bible and interpret it differently to those who think it makes no sense. If anyone really wants to ask me why I disagee with the interpretations of the verses above, please can they wait until tomorrow?

I'm still discovering what I believe in as I get older - part of me does believe there is a god though and I respect everyones opinions on the subject.

YES God is so good to me and I know that there is no possibel way that Jesus blessing my life could ever be mistaken as a coincedence or luck. look around at the world the babies, people, plants, animals, you'll realise there is no way there's not I'll be praying God reveals him self to you specially.
