Do you know how to get 4 gallons?

Say you've got a 5 gallon jug and a 3 gallon jug and all the water you need. How do you get four gallons exactly ??

You fill the three gallon jug and then pour it into the five gallon jug. Then you fill it again and pour it in the five gallon jug, leaving one gallon in the three gallon jug. Then you pour out the five gallon jug, pour the one gallon from the three gallon jug into the five gallon jug, then you fill the three gallon jug, pour it into the five gallon jug, leaving four gallons in the five gallon jug.

fill up the 5 gallon jug then pour 1 gallon into the 3 gallon jug and boom thats 4 gallons in the 5 gallon jug and you also have an extra gallon of water for later in another one thats a double score

Also, you could fill 5 gal jug. Pour that into 3 gal jug until full leaving 2 gallons in the 5 gallon jug. Empty 3 gal jug. Pour remaining two gallons from 5 gal jug into empty 3 gallon jug leaving two gallons in the 3 gallon jug and the 5 gallon jug is empty. Fill 5 Gallon jug again. Now fill the remainder of 3 gal jug from the full 5 gallon jug and it will leave 4 gallons in the five gallon capacity jug.
