Do tattoo hurt? when getting them

I was wondering how much pain must I take and for how long when getting a tattoo I was thinking of getting one on my right arm of a cross and in the middle of it it would say hope

This is what I tell people to do so you kinda have an idea of how it feels.Get a needle and then just drag it on your skin.
They really dont hurt just when he is doing it.But it also depends on the area that you want it.

Yea it depends on where you get it. It'll hurt less the more fat the area has. Like, an ankle tattoo would hurt more than a tattoo on your tummy or arm.

but as you get it your body releases natural pain killers and youll get used to it after a while
it depends on how big the tattoo is but it will either take an hour or a bit more, like a few hours
also keep things like school and jobs in mind, as it affects them both

It depends on where you getting at like the one on my back did't hurt now the one on my foot and leg I almost cried to death but the one on my upper arm did't hurt so bad I have 5 in all a rose on my foot a pitbull on my left upper arm some tiger paw prints on my back my first name on my right lower arm and my middle name on my right leg now I'm about to get my two kids name going around my wrist and a cross behind my ear I want like at least 6 more but small ones like a ladybug on my thumb it hurts on the soft tissue so try something thick like your leg or back Good luck bye now
