I have the same issue sort of…where everything has to be placed nice or i have to do it over..and the damn checking issues. I think most people have “ OCD “ sometimes they admit sometime they don’t… but if it’s really bothering you get prof. help or talk to someone you trust. It’s all in your head. You can control your mind, but not something that’s not in your mind. I hope my advice helps & check this site out : http://www.nativeremedies.com/mindsoothe_for_depression.shtml … if you still need help contact me.

I reorganize my room like every week because everything gets out of place.. and I just organize things when it doesnt look rite to me. … haha.. its so weird.. but it bugs you so much if you dont do it. .. I feel as if im forgetting something.. but ya im pretty sher you have it. haaa.

everyone has there share of somet type of OCD. Dont ever think its a bad thing. If it effects your normal way of life you may want to talk to someone about it. They may be able to help you recognize the good OCD from the bad.

Yes. I am the same way in aspects. The magazines have to be layed on the coffee table exactly at the right angles, the pillows on the bed have to be set just exactly, etc. I count in twos, and I count everything. It’s is very annoying! However it does not rule my life or interfere with daily activities. If you have a more severe case, where this obsessive compulsiveness is interfering with your ability to function normally, interefering with family and personal relationships, or in any way becoming a problem you cant ignore other than mere annoyance, you should seek help. There are things that a professional could suggest to help you with your ocd as well as measure the severity of your case. Takek some time to do a little research online to better understand what you are dealing with, and talk to someone who can help you. Good luck!

I agree with everything nada_dulces said!! I have the same type, I count in evens like only even amounts of M&M go in my mouth at one time!! I also spell things like signs on the interstate!! But… my Dr. said as long as I don’t stop my car to spell them then it’s not really that bad. If you can’t have a family function without straigtening things YES , go to a Dr. and have them help you!! Good Luck!! Brandared:)
