Should I go to equador even if my friends aren't?

ok well I have this annual thing at school where each year we go to a Spanish speaking country for a week.This year they are going to Ecuador I've been to Mexico, Venezuela and Panama on these trips and this year I didn't want to go because no one I know is going. My mother assumed that I wanted to go without even asking me if I wanted to and paid US$1500. Today (jan 28) I went to a teacher and told her the story and she said the money cannot be refunded, okay now should I (1) Go and watch everyone in their groups chatting when I have no friends there or (2) Not go and lose all the money ($1500) I paid ? PLEASE HELP THE TRIP IS THIS SUNDAY I NEED HELP!

well girl its to late now you have to go, because that is a lot of money your just giving up!
Unless you talk to your mom and she says its okay that you dont go!
I think you really need to talk to her and find out what she thinks!

Don't back down, I have stuff like that all the time at school. If you go through your life avoiding experiences because you're scared of people you'll never get any where. Use it as your time to shine. I know it sounds ridiculous.. but take it from a girl who had to get into a group to practically live at school. It's your time to shineee. take it .. be strong..
