Do colon cleansings really work?

guess who Asked by babygrrl over 2 years ago, 4 answers.

I've been seeing a lot of stuff about colon cleansers lately, and I was wondering if anyone who has tried it can tell me which ones are good, or if they are even worth it. Does it really make you feel better inside and out? Phisically and mentally?...

Thanks!

There are a lot of good supplements out there that you can use... There is one that I use by Dr. Schuzes Its intestinal formula #1... and Also there is a Super cleanse by Natures Secrets. it unclogs your colon and gets it moving with 14 herbs and fibers... Also its really good for you if you have a healthy dose of fiber daily to clean your system out.. It basically gets rid of all the toxins that get built up in you that are not released naturally do to lack of fiber... I hope that helps you out and answers your question

heathershaw05,
There are two main types of colon cleansing. The first type is a powdered or liquid supplement. The other type is colonic irrigation or colonic hydrotherapy, which involves inserting a rubber tube into the rectum and flushing it with water.
Your colon knows how to do its job, constantly shedding old cells, absorbing nutrients and keeping a delicate balance of bacteria and natural chemicals. Interfering with this process can hurt or destroy these relationships, meaning the colon won't work as well as it should. Colon cleansing is unnecessary, and medical doctors do not advise you to do this.
Sue...good luck

I don't know if it works, but I am sick and tired of hearing different answers. I really think it's different for eveyone. I think I will try it, hey even if it isn't really working, maybe I won't know the difference. I also would like to say that I have lost weight before simply by working hard, eating less, and drinking lots of water, coarse I was A young'in back then 19 (lost about 70 lbs). Now I have gained it all back and am 32 can't seem to loose it now! Coarse I drink lots of coke and really don't watch my diet, I know I eat way to much. Any subjestions? Although we Fat people all know the truth in the back of our minds, the feared diet and excercise, or if your rich you can have surgery, or better yet go join the biggest looser.

sue90, thank you sincerely for that answer. I expected to find the kind of bs about pockets of dead matter or other bs that those TV infomercial scam artists are spouting in order to get you to send them money for their worthless books. THANK YOU!
