To clean the outside you can use a spray bottle and spray the are with the soak, for the inside you can gargle the water and hold in in the are with the piercing to make sure it get's there.
It takes about 8-12 weeks for the piercing to heal.
Eating should not be a problem, as long as your clean them everytime you eat something.
