okay so like did you hear about heath ledger! he died I was so shocked when I heard about it yesterday, so how do you feel about it? I am feeling sypathatic for his daughter, and family

Heath Ledger's father, Kim Ledger, flanked by his family, released a statement on Australian television:

We, Heath's family, confirm, the very tragic, untimely and accidental passing of our dearly loved son, brother and doting father of Matilda. He was found peacefully asleep in his New York apartment by his housekeeper at 3:30 p.m. U.S. time.

We would like to thank our friends and everyone around the world for their well wishes and kind thoughts at this time. Heath has touched so many people on so many different levels during his short life but few had the pleasure of truly knowing him.

He was a down to earth, generous, kind-hearted, life-loving and selfless individual who was extremely inspirational to many. Please now respect our families need to grieve and come to terms with our loss privately.

omg! I just wrote a q about that! lolz thats soo sad... so young!!! so tragic!!! and only 28! the news so far is that its either suicide or accidental overdose... didn't he and his lover split? and with child to? wow...

Yeah, he had just finished filming the movie, The Black Knight... I am definately going to see it and really looking forward to it, I think that is probably going to be his best role!

Unfortunately, he will never see the success this movie is going to be. There will be tons of 'lookyloos' who will come out to see the movie just because of his untimely death. Hopefully his little girl will remember her daddy and be able to keep his memory alive.
