Dating problem

I'm 16 and i'm hopeless with pretty girls and pretty much every girl. I've been trying to get into dating because of some previous advice which i'm not all too sure has been helpful. I have huge feelings for my best friend. I've already told her and...

she's ok with it and still dates other guys which was not what i really wanted but i have to respect what she wants...right? Anyway the last person who gave me advice said i should date to get my mind off my feelings for my best friend, but i'm not so sure if it's the best way to deal with the whole situation. Should i start dating and if so how do i deal with being shy and saying the wrong things? Or should i try to deal with my feelings another way? In advance thanks for the advice.

Well, unfortunally if you feel that dating other people is not the best thing to do, you have no choice. If she continues to date and do want she wants and be with people she wants it's going to be hard to wait until she's done with her fun to be with you. Whoever gave you the advice of dating other people to get your mind of her has the right idea and is putting your feelings first. It's not fair and unhealthy for you to stand around 2, 3, 4 months or even years until she wises up and sees the good guy she has waiting for her. Who know, in the process of getting your mind off of her you might find someone much better who appreciates you too. Being 16 and waiting around for someone is too young.

Dude i know how you feel, i used to feel the same way not too long ago. YOu just gotta go for, fail, but learn through your mistakes, trial and error bro.
