Will my trip across country turn into a horror movie?

Okay well lol...I want to take a road trip to california making some stops at some places ...but like I've watched movies like the hills have eyes and house of a thousand corpse and the devils rejects and texas chain saw massacre... and like they freaked me out lol ahahahha I sound like such a loser and freak...lol but I'm looking for reassurance that people think also im weird and that everything will be okay and I wont be eaten or cut up with a chain saw...lol :P I know these are just movies by the way and I live in new york if that helps with the coast to coast road trip idea...any way yea and I'de be with other people too. they all think im crazy also :P
