Ok we found a bug in our house and it's like
() s not a termite and we are pretty lost as to whta it might be, can someone help us!! What is this little bug?!

I see you live in Salt Lake City - are there any other people here from your area?They might have more of an idea about what kinds of bugs live in Utah.

Can you describe it a bit better, too? Size, colour, shape (I think you did that with the brackets up there, perhaps) and where you found it?

I found it in my basemeant, it's the side of the brackets lol, it's dark brown, it looks like a tick with scorpian arms.

ya, did it have a stinger too. I had this one bug crawling on me a couple years back and I still remember it because it had scorpian legs and a stinger, I live in upstate new york, never seen nothing like it. It was crawling on my chest and stung me a couple times, I couldn't kill the dam thing, no matter how hard I sqeezed it the dam thing just would not die, lol. pretty sure it had wings too

sounds like a CHERNETID, from your description- look it up on the internet and let me know if that is it.

It was a chernetid!! thanks! but now I'm googling it and I can't find a single piece of info.
