Try talking to your parents, and telling them that you feel you may benefit. Even put a timeline on it, say 10 sessions. If you feel you are getting no where by then, you'll give it up. What do they have to loose by writing a note for you? Worst case, you find out that it doesn't help you. Best case, it helps.

I k now I need counselling for depression. I've been told so by proffessionals. but my parents just said that going to see the professional was a waste of time. I know I cant see a professional outside school because my dad works too late to take me,...
but theres a counselling program for this sort of thing at my school, but the problem is your parents have to write a letter from your parents to have the sessions. how can I get the sessions/get my parents to write a letter?
