Could this cause a false pregnancy test?

Earlier I bought an Equate pregnancy test, I did it and nothing showed up so I figured it was invalid. I was like okay... lets try the same one again (yes, I'm cheap! haha)
So I peed in a cup and dipped the pregnancy test in and got a positive right...

away!

Could this be false positive? Because I did use the test twice when you aren't supposed to. I'm not counting on this result I'm just curious what others thing, I'm retesting tomorrow.

You can't use the same test twice. This really isn't the time to be cheap. You have to follow the directions, only use it once. I would buy a 2 pack (they usually come that way anyways) and pee on each one ONCE. Wait until morning to take them (the first pee of the day will give the best results).

I was told if you have a positive preg test it is never wrong.

well lesha its time to stop beleiveing everything you hear
a lot of pregnancy tests can be faulty
and a lot of people dont use them correctly either
also people take them too early, giving them no or a false reading
and as jess said, now is not the time to be cheap
buy another one, perhaps a better one and take it again
you could also go to your doctor and get a blood test for a more accurate result
