Convince mom to let me go tanning?

How can I convince my mom to let me go to tanning booths? Im 15 so I need her permission. She used to go all the time, but she stopped because of her skin. But im tired of being SO pale! I want to be tan for summer.

Tell her all of the pros Do not tell her the cons! Try to persuade her that it's safe. you could tell her that it's safer than going out in the sun and getting a tan. You could also tell her that your really tired of being pale. Or tell her that you'll pay for the tan on your own (That usually works with my mom). I'm not sure she'll listen but I think this might work. Good luck

Maybe you should try and avoid the tanning salons as your skin will most probably end up like your mom's before you know it. You're only 15, extreme sun exposure or going to tanning booths will age your skin faster, and increase the chances of skin cancer. It's not a healthy practice.

Why pay for sunlight when you can get it for free? You can slowly tan at your own pace outdoors with copius amounts of sunscreen. You can also try those rub-on tan lotions that give your skin a tanned color over time.

unfortunatly you, among many other kids and teens still have no idea of the dangers of tanning beds and salons
the government just allowed them to pop up everywere before they tested how dangerosue they were
now there trying to ban them because many people have died of skin cancer as a direct result from using a tanning bed
as well as tanning beds contributing to skin cancer
uv damage also prematurely ages your skin and face
making you look older, and making your sjkin age quicker
ther are many risks involved with using them
the main one being skin cancer
the only safe tan is a fake tan
one that comes from a bottle, spray on, wipe, cream, ect
tell your mum and make yourself aware of the dangers of using those stupid tanning beds
then be safe, be smart, head to a mall and buy a bottle of fake tan if you have to

thats right your mom is sayin no cause its just as deadly as going out in the sun.
try tanning creams instead

Tanning is not at all good for you. People who tan don't always look good either, so I don't really get why anyone does it on purpose.

If you feel as if you need to go to a tanning salon, most salons offer mystic or spray tans to the public.
The spray tanning is done by a professional so you wont have to worry about those terrible streaks from self tanner, and the spray is completly harmless to the skin.

there are other ways you cud always buy fake tan and give that a try x
