Connect to xbox live!! help

Ok I need to connect to xbox live. I would have a silver membership if I do.
When I try to connect, I need the ip address and it says.. Failed
And then you need the dns, mtu, icmp, and the nat.

I need somone to explain to me step by step how to do...

this pleasee.

I have the same problem...I tried changing the ip adress manually but its still didnt work...try contacting xbox...and I you happen to find the answer could you tell me...

It sounds like you need to *add* your Xbox 360 to your home network...that's all there is too it, so, copy down the settings from your home network (dns, ip address, etc) and then add them via the xbox 360...
