Hey I've seen this riddle around and was wondering what the answer is. I just can't figure it out!

What is greater than God,
More evil than the devil,
The poor have it,
The rich need it,
And if you eat it, you'll die?

I would say the answer is WHAT because it says WHAT is bigger than God... I don't NUH IM just GUESSING
