You're gaining muscle. Muscle weights much more than fat, if you exercise that much then you arn't gaining fat. You might be gaining weight but its muscle weight. It would be helpfull if you put a picture of yourself though.

Sometimes people just assume that just because you are bigger than you were you are fatter, when the case is just that you are becoming more muscular. You are right, muscle weighs more than fat. If you have a high metabolism you probably don't have to worry. Seems like your mom thinks you are doing just fine. There are always going to be people out there that are jealous that will say you are fat just to lower your self esteem. Don't believe them. You will be just fine. happy

Look up your Body mass index in a google search. You put in your age, weight and height and it will show you where your body shape falls. generally, if you are working out and your BMI is in the normal range, you are fine. If you want to lose weight, keep up the training but cut back on the calories. No less than 1500 a day though if you are exercising a lot. If you are weight training, cut back on how many pounds you are lifting and increase your repetitions. Using extra weight will make you build muscle whereas all you want to do is maintain what you have.
