de fragt the hd clean up the hd and also running vires scanss and a disk check

well I would first have the computer have a virus scan and if it has someone I would try to fix them or delete them so my computer doesn't toally get infected

Lots of error messages in Windows XP? doesn't sound too good. Best to start with running a virus scan and any other malware programs you have. It sounds a bit like a virus has got into the XP system files and corrupted some - it may be necessary to re-install Windows, but lets hope not - and if there's viruses on your computer a re-install of Windows will just get attacked by the virus anyway.
