Why does S.A coke taste different to U.S.A coke?

Probably something the use here that they do not use there. Like the Coke from here tastes different from that made in Mexico because here they use corn syrup and in Mexico, they use sugar.

Hmm I was talking to someone who was a marketing major, apparently it has to do with different tastes... some countries like things to be sweeter... etc...

I'm in australia and I went to japan for a holiday and their coke tastes like our pepsi and vice versa, weird, huh? I wonder if they mixed up every single drink shipment going to oz?
