Classic Book?

I need to read a classic book for English. It has to have been published at least over 100 years ago, and it has to be a ‘classic’. I want to cry, laugh, and feel the book come to life. Any ideas? Oh, and I’m in a Gifted and Talented English class, so I need something challenging!
