I am sure if you listen to her when you are together or shopping she is droping hints all the time. Just listen to her. and diamond earrings are always a fav. I was 16 when I got my first pair and each yr we would take them back and upgrade. I now have beautiful diamond earrings that I just love. Gift cert. to a beauty saloon for hair, makeup, massage, nails, pedicure. you will figure it out.
All very good ideas, but I didn't mention in my initial post:
She gets a massage twice a month already, at the same place she gets manicures and pedicures, not to mention she works in a salon. So... while these are all good ideas, they aren't good gift ideas for my girlfriend.
Good suggestions though, I'll just have to go shopping with her in the next few weeks to try and pick up on some ideas. I didn't even think about some earrings, thanks!
Christmas, in my humble opinion is too commercialized and puts a lot of pressure on people to spend a lot of money (which is tight for many people right now). I prefer gifts from people that are thoughtful, and not necessarily expensive. Does she have any interests, hobbies, etc.? If so, how about a book or magazine subscription on something she likes? Or even a favorite bottle of wine... I don't know, that works well for my age group, but not sure how much a 20 year old would appreciate such a thing (unless she is on the shallow side). ...Just a thought.
I was talking about the iPod touch, btw, not the phone.
She loves reading, but whenever she finds a book she likes, she instantly goes out and buys the entire series. So it's hard to find something for her that she likes, that she doesn't already have. She doesn't read much in the way of magazines. She hates wine, lol.
With both of our schedules, we both don't have much time for hobbies. I dunno, I'm stumped.

Christmas present ideas
Looking for some ideas on what to get my girlfriend for Christmas. She's 20 years old, if that helps. Jewelry is tough, because she doesn't like bracelets, necklace make her feel like she's choking, and she doesn't want a ring unless it's -the- ring. If...
you catch my drift. She already found one of the gifts I got her, so.. I'm trying to do even better than that one.
Any other ideas? We've been together for over 2 years, so little notes and poems and stuff don't really seem to give me the contented feeling I like having when I give a gift.
