Children and parents

Asked by oksbaby about 1 year ago, 3 answers.

There is something that I don't understand, most people most of the time blame parents with siily mistakes of their children, just like if a child got pregnant they wiil put a blame to the parent saying she didn't discipline enough, and this sometimes is...

even done by husbands to their wives saying the wife didn't pay much attention to the child, but is this really their fault or is just a child who doesn't listen?

I think you would have to look at each particular case seprately. Parents can have a lot to do with how their children grow up and the things they do when they get older. That's not the case every time though.
You can discipline some kids till your blue in the face, and they will still do what they want.
So it's hard to say if you can blame the parents or not, because in some cases you can, and in some you can't.

Yes I agree with mandy, its really hard to say considering every situation is different. Although I believe parents should start EARLY as possible teaching, disipling their kids and not waiting untill they are 15.

Can be either - that's why it's so important children be taught good values - not a guarantee of a good result, but it gives them a better chance for a leg-up in life...Take care !!
