Charging an mp3 player help...

Okay, 4 my birthday last year my friend said she didnt get anything 4 me but I could have one of her mp3 players, because she already has like 3 now 2. but she forgot 2 tell me how 2 work it. Does anyone know how 2 charge it???, I would ask my friend but I cant get a hold of her 'cause shes in New Mexico 4 the summer and I cant wait any longer... I have the kind that is shaped like a oval rectangle and not the kind that look like an ipod but its when you take the side off it plugs in2 your computer is that how you charge it???

should have a usb cord that came with it. If there's no batteries in the device, it charges off the computer, or any other item that comes with a usb plug.

You can charge mp3 players off of playstations, wii's, xbox's, some tvs, as long as it has a usb plug.
