if you are not 100% certain they are centipedes maybe do a check on google , get a picture up and compare. Centipedes more often live right on the ground and in soil . They move quite fast and grow to be a few metres long. Im not sure if they would be harmful or not- are they eating holes in the leaves? if so best to go to garden supply centr and ask someone what they have as a good insect repellant

Centipedes do not get meters long! There may be a bunch of , but is this a potted plant or in the garden? If potted, almost surely not centipedes. In either care, get a Safer plant spray; It uses soap to kill bugs without poisoning the planet.
