if its a kitten its possible, but if its a cat youve dug yourself in a hole, because no way are you going to train a cat in that time span

I have issues with my cat peeing outside of his kitty litter box. He is neutered and yet I have caught him peeing on the carpet or dark clothes. What I usually do is physically pick him up and take him to the kitty litter to see if he has to pee or poop. In the morning and especially in the evening, I bring him to his litter. It has helped greatly although every now and then he has an accident. However my case is somewhat different b/c I have to keep his litter blocked off from my dog or he'll eat his poop. (gross, isn't it?)

Or it could very well be the certain brand of kitty litter you use ( if he uses one) b/c some cats snub certain brands and are more prone to others.

Or you might also want to check to make sure he doesn't have a urinary tract infection. My friend is a vet tech and she said that cats usually have a tendency to pee outside of their litter box when they have one. You can even ask the vet for ideas as to what the reason is behind your cats' accidents. Hopefully you'll find a solution. Good luck!

Like sophie said, if he's not neutered, then get him done...that will help...

Also, get a cleaner from a Janitorial Company that uses enzymes to break down the oder and eliminate it...Part of the reason he's peeing there, is because he's peed there before...Keep a squit bottle handy and if you catch him, squirt him...

Can all this be done in less than a week...I don't think so.

Like phrannie said, get rid of the smell first...

Maybe he's having issues with the litter box? Try a different type of box, Try a bigger box
If you were using a lid, try taking off the lid and vice versa
Try a different type of litter
Put out two boxes
Clean out the box once a day and wash it once a week
Neuter the cat...

once I changed the box, my cat stopped peeing everywhere like immediately... no training required...
