If your cat licks you, it's suposed to be the ultimate sign of affection.
either that or you have some food on you that's so good he's drooling for it and licking it off you.
lol

Maybe there is something wrong with him. Take him to a vet to be sure ASAP. But, it could be normal. God bless!

My cat-nephew Goblin drools too, and sucks his human mommy's ear every night in bed. His vet says that since Goblin was orphaned as a very young kitten, these actions are after-effects of it. It helps him feel attached to his mother. I guess you could say that he never grew out of 'sucking his thumb' if he was human.

my cat is always at the vets, so I know there's nothing medically wrong with him except he can't stop fighting!! he ws a stray who 'wandred' into out garden over a year ago, and he never went away. but he fights with EVERY cat that comes in a 5 mile radius!! so it's not medical..it was more does any other cat do it?

thanks for what I've had tough happy

Is he nuetered? If not, that's probably why he fights so much. My cat, Olive, used to come home with gashes, and cuts, and bite marks all the time, so finally I got him fixed, and he never faught again...

nothing is wrong with your cat, don't worry, he just likes you so much wink
my head is my cat's pillow, and my blanket is hers too, when I'm not in my room she sleeps under my blanket, lol, sometimes when I'm just sitting on the chair she jumps on me and starts licking my hands!! it's so gross!!!

imme - that what he does too - all the time, it's nice that he's so affectionate, I have just had a lot of cats, and NONE of them have ever been all 'licyfied' lol!!

he has been 'done'..but as I say, he was a stray - he's very possesive, when we got our kitten (not so much a kitten anymore..but) he wouldn't come in for three days!! he just sat on the patio staring at us through the french doors as if to say 'I'm not coming in all the time that little scamps in there!' (he gave in eventually..lol)

but he is VERY possesive over me, like he won't come in for anyone else at all...and when it's bed time, he follows me round til I get into bed...seriously, I go to the loo, he follows me, I go downstairs to check I locked the doors...he follows me lol! I think he was a dog in a previous life lol!! happy

You should take your cat to the vet, because side-effects like that in a cat can be serious. There are many things it could be. Does your cat drink a lot of water?
