Why don't people stop for fundraising carwashes?

ok this is a really rerarded question, but I figure that I might as well put it on here since im wondering... how come people never go to carwashes like for fundraisers outside walmart or the mall or wherever they are? you get your car cleaned, and...

it's not for a bad cause or anything, so why dont people stop?

LOL, I see them all the time and when I see them thats not what im out for usually or I don't have time or my kid is fussy or im in a hurry to get back home ect,ect. I like to go the car wash and do it myself honestly

It's a good question. Do you think we're all scared of getting 'involved'? Some days I'm really good getting into charity things like this, but other days I just want everyone to leave me alone so I avoid having to talk to people or make decisions about helping or not helping. Those are the bad days! Maybe we just need a bit more courage to go out and do something that will help other people.

I am usually too busy to have my car washed at that moment or do not carry enough cash so they look at me stupid as I drive away.
