Canadian with green card and expired passport

Asked by ceobrien 7 months ago, 1 answer.

I am a Canadian citizen living in the US with a valid green card. My Canadian passport has just expired, and I need to travel by air to Toronto this weekend for a family funeral. Will my green card be accepted as sufficient documentation to do so?

I may be wrong, but... Your green card is for the US, not Canada. I think you should go into your closest Canadian embassy to update your passport ASAP.
