Can my girlfriend legally move in with me?

I live in Ga., and my girlfriend is stuck on moving out. I am 18 and I have a place, good income and I can take care of her, but I don't want her parents to be able to get me for kidnapping or anything. She is 17. So can she come and live with me, without too much police involvement, or what do we need to do to make it legal????

Hmm.. I'm not sure if it's the same as in Canada, but I'm sure the laws aren't too different. Here a person can choose where they live at the age of 13.. so I'm pretty sure if you can proove that she moved in with you on her own free will, then I'm pretty sure her parents can't do anything.

Best of luck!
