Can you get pregnant a week after your period? I know there is no real safe time but arent most girl fertile halfway into their cycle??

You should NEVER have unprotected sex though, because every woman's cycle is different and ovulates at a different time. Also, tracking your ovulation is just an estimate it does not give you the exact dates and can not be used as a birth control option.

You are very fertile after finishing the last day/days of your period and up until about two weeks after that. There are home fertilization kits that you can buy at your local drug stores like Walgreens or Wal-mart that will help you time your ovulation (when you are ovulating, timing the days you cycle, etc) and hopefully, it will help you get pregnant. I used one with my husband to help conceive our first child after 8 months of trying (the regular way, lol) and now my daughter is turning 4 this year, so it helped me to get pregnant and worked for us.
