Can i use any hair dye while pregnant?

I was wondering if there is any hair dye I can use while pregnant? My roots look horrible, it is worth waiting for but if there is something I *can* use I'd love to know. From when I know, the semi-permanent stuff doesn't have much in it so could it be...

my sister used regular hair dye for her hair while she was pregnant.. the baby was fine and more beautiful then ever.

Most doctors say no because they really don't know how it will affect the baby. But a lot of women do and have normal babies. Ask your doctor and go with what they tell you.

Doctors do not know for sure so I would not just to be safe. It is just not worth it.

My obgyn told me it is perfectly safe to dye to dye my hair through my whole pregnancy.

its mainly black hair dye that has been said to cause cancer
but then again, there are very harsh chemicals in all kinds and colours of hair dyes
try looking for an organic brand or green one with a lot less of those harsh chemicals
and you could also ask your doctor if there safe to use while pregnant

Most doctors do say no, due to the fumes that most hair dyes have. Also, because of the fluctuating hormone changes during pregnancy a lot of stylists recommend not doing things to your hair while preg, mainly d/t the fact that adverse outcomes may occur. (Diff shades than wanted) although, perming is worse. Trust me! BTDT!! :/

Don't dye your whole head, just get a root touch up from a local drug store or something. That's what I did, and my doctor said it was a lot safer than dying all of my hair.
