can I get taller? my mother is 5'3 and my father is 5'10 my older sister is 5'6 and I want to be a supermodel. im 5'1

It's a possibility that you might have a couple inches left to grow, but not a serious growth spurt. Either way it doesn't mean that you can't be apart of the industry.

runway models are like a minimum of 5'7 but you probably wont get a lot of work until youre 5'10 or 5'11 so if you think you can grow 9 or 10 inches before you turn 25 then good luck.

Probably not. Most women reach their max height, 3 years after their period has started.

As a female you carry on growing untill you are 21. No one can predict your final height. Unfortuneately you won't be any taller than your body allows you to grow.

Oh I was 5'2 when I was 12 and 5'7 by the time I was 17 and then didn't grow any more. I'm 47 now and still 5'7.

Sure. Consult an orthopeodic surgeon and what he will do is cut your legs off just below the knees.. he will then insert titanium spacers onto the severed leg and bolt them on with titanium screws. He will then reattatch your legs and insert all of the appropriate screws. After the skin graphs you will be wheelchair ridden for about 6 to 8 months. You can then be up to 21/2 inches taller.

This is not for the average person...this procedure is used with little people and people with physical disabilities.

The chances you reach model size is very unlikely. But models are changing and we are starting to see shorter runway models, larger runway models and this is encouraging for people who want to model but don't fit the sterio typical model type. Even if you aspire to be a model you will still need a good education and another career choice to fall back on. Work on this and first and keep the modelling dream as a second choice.
