You're dog is just doing that to mess with your mind. Dogs love practical jokes like that. They also love sausage.
he bark at a dark window what can that mean
Hi Tammy,
Dogs can see, smell and hear things that humans cant.
They can sense things that we are unable to sense.
I love to go horse riding and there is an area of the woods near me that is supposed to be haunted. Whatever the reason, most horses refuse to go down this track further than the supposed haunted spot.
I'm not saying it is a ghost, just that the horse is aware of something in that particular area that unsettles it and makes it very nervous,.
I dont know about your window or about the ghost bit but it sounds like he can senses something either thant or as toadly says, your dog is just playing with your head.

my dog is very good at sensing things, he does it up the stairs and to my front door.
I think kiasu is right on the first part they can see and hear and sense things we cant
as 4 the black window I pik up my jack russell and sees his reflection and others reflections so I think hes just barkin at his own reflection or of others
Yes!
Most definitely.
Believe it or not some dogs have an imagination.
Superstitions, people.
Animals have better senses than people. The dog hears a raccoon in the trees and goes on alert. People can't hear anything, so the superstitious ones think it must be a ghost.
A horse walking a trail comes to a spot where a cougar has marked it's territory, so the horse sensibly refuses to go on, as will the next horse and so on. The human rider can't smell anything, and thinks the area must be haunted.
we dont have any trees outsite in are garden.
Dogs hearing is very acute, and their sense of smell is millions times our own...a whiff of something, can raise the hackles of a dog...a coyote howling so far away, you can't hear it will lift a head or raise the ears...
It'd be hard telling if it was a ghost, or something so far away, you're simply not aware of it.
phrannie
what would they do it I it was a ghost
Good answer bimjob and clearly the case in a lot of parts of the world.
However, we dont tend to get a lot of cougars on the south coast of England. Mind you, I have seen some pretty scary Robins!

yes becuase animals can see hear and smell better than humans can and tests have shown animals can see ghosts better than we can and they can see them whether thay want to or not sometimes the animals will just think the spirit is a toy or unless they feel thretened then the animals attack.
even my rocky used to do same, oneday suddenly he jumped to our bed and stare at window with his scary eyes, and when my mother wanted to divert his mind by making another sound he didnt bother. my mother got scared because it was 2 am at night and no one was in room and there is a chair near to window where my father used to sit. he is no more. it my mother think rocky could see my father's spirit but I dont know whether he could but it made me feel happy that father came to see us.
whats the sign its a ghost thou ?
he makes really bad noises and he scares me. and shakes when the house is warm
