Yes a private school can have a team for just males or females. It may seem sexist and unfair but a private school is privately funded and not government or state run so they can discriminate based on their charter. All are insane, but those who can analyze their delusions are philosophers (Socrates)

Can a private school discriminate based on sex?
Okay, I recently saw a movie (she's the Man) and I was just wondering if a private school can have a team for their male students, but not have a team for the female students, nor allow the female students to play on the male's team of said sport? I know...
that public schools, at least in the United States, if a school wants to offer a sport team, they must make it equally available to both genders, weither that be by making male and female teams or by allowing both to join the same team.
While I would like to know about here, I am also interested in the policies of other countries.
