Burning dvd?

why does my computer say no blank disk when I put a blank in my computer and try to burn movies in to it?

It says no blank disc when you put a blank into your computer because something is wrong with it. My guess is the drive needs to be cleaned or replaced.

Do you have the right kind of blank CD?? I know this happened to me a few months ago and my boyfriend told me that I was using the work disk and apparently there is more then one kind.
