Burning cd.

I have some blank cds here and I want to burn a cd.

They say 700MB or 80 min. When I put it in and go to Windows Media Player it says 702 MB remaining. I put songs on and burned the cd. It doesn't work.

Last time I burned a cd it told me how much...

time was left on the cd and when I tried to play it, the cd worked. How can I change it back so it tells me how much TIME is left on the cd?

You're burning it in the wrong way. You're burning it as a software or data cd. You need to burn it as a music cd. There should be different options for each within your burning software. You need the audio cd option within the software

but it depends on the software you're using, it's impossible for me to say. all you have to do is find that setting in your burning software
