what does it look like when baby bunnies open there eyes? and when do they open there eyes?

Baby bunnies, known as 'kits' or 'kittens', are born with their eyes closed, deaf and and are dependant on the doe, nursing for around 6-8 weeks before being fully weaned.
It is usually around 10-12 days before their eyes open properly.

Well when bunnies begin to open their eyes it looks as if their eyes are half open or as if they are 'squinting'. It normally takes around 10-12 days for the bunnies eyes to open, however, if their eyes aren't open by the 14th day then I would suggest consulting a vet to help. But whatever you do, DO NOT open their eyes yourself as this may cause permanent damage to the bunnies.
