I dont know how old, but as soon as they are able to control their neck and head, they should be able to sit in it. My baby was about 2-3 months old and she was fine in hers.

mine is 4 months & he's been sitting in it since he was 3 months -- as long as they can hold their heads up then they can sit in them

Hey they recalled the BUMBO seat, go research it... They said that they were having problems with people putting their kids on like a higher surface(couch,table, etc) and they were getting out of them and dropping to the ground... Just letting you know...

they recalled the seat only to put a new warning label on it. there was nothing defective about the seat itself.
