I dont think so! but mine does, it is the best way to keep your hair growing besides oils, and certain herbs oils. :] good luck, and funmail with any questions.
afro-american?
I didnt realize it was 1972...
anyways, drink lots of water, perhaps a multivitamin, regular cleaning and conditioning will help. all braiding does is protect the hair really from tangling and the elements. and its easy to maintain so you dont think about fussing with your hair all that much. if you are trying to grow out your hair I would begin a hair care regimen. deep conditioning once a week with a leave in or hot oil treatments. your hair will grow best when it is properly moisturized. any black person can tell you, or at least the ones I know, can tell you that hair breakage and dryness is a common issue. you wouldn't walk out the house without moisturizing your skin, so take a little extra time for your hair. also it also depends on if the hair is natural or relaxed. people with relaxed hair may have a more difficult time maintaining their hair because it is already in a damaged state. even so, the key to healthy, lengthy hair is moisture. keep your hair moisturized!!!
Drink lots of water. Proper hydration is very important for all hair types.
Per my doctor, for proper hydration, take your weight and divide that in half. That is how much water you should drink every day for normal hydration. You should add more if you are very active in sports. Once you get that right you will see a huge difference in your skin, nails and hair.
