Pills for breathing trouble aren't working

Deefor in the sun Asked by seasonal69magic 3 months ago, 6 answers.

I went to the doctor wednesday about my breathing problems I've had for a while, accompanied by a cough. He thought it could be asthma but he told me to try anti histamines first before he gave me an inhaler. I had a really bad night last night, I was up till about 3 o clock non stop coughing and I couldnt seem to catch my breath, and it was hard to breathe.
there are 28tablets so its like a months dose, could I go back to the doctor if I see no results in the next couple of days or would I have to wait until the months dose is used?

thats really up to you, and how long the tablets actually take to work.
with most things you should see a difference in a few days or weeks
but if your unhappy with the results then you can definantly go back and ask them whats wrong. ask them how long they take to work and things like that.
also make sure your not smoking, or lower the amount you usually have.

subtle rephrasing of the question, so I'll let it go (you're not supposed to ask duplicate questions here).
If you're having that much trouble go see him... you dont have to suffer for a month because your pills aren't working. Just call up the office, say the pills arent working and ask to make another appointment...

oh and consider buying one of those air purifyers for your room
and don't let your dog into the room
nothing that collects dust (so no carpet if possible, no soft toys, none of those soft furry pillows etc)
talk to your doctor sbout the complete list... this stuff will set off asthma/allergies...
