Braces, teeth stains?

I've heard about teeth stains ( yellow teeth) when you get them off if you havent cleaned them all the time,

I have braces, I sometimes forget to do them at night, but mostly I do, I usally forget to take them to school the embrassment, I've had...

them on for quite awhile know I cant memba when I got thme on, but I should be getting them off august 2009? im worried my teeth might be a bit yellow, if I start doing them every night memba to bring htem to school would the change? go whiter?

if they are removable ones I'd just take them out clean your teeth and then put them back in. if they aren't removable then I just use a lot of mouthwash it can get under youre brace. I had mine off like 2 weeks back and my teeth were stained but I've been brushing them for about 10 mins morning and night and they are white again and no stains!

I had braces for 2 years and got mine off august 13th 2008, I sometimes forgot to brush at night and I hardly ever flossed and when I got mine off I was so nervous and scared that my teeth would be ugly and that I would have bracket stains and stuff and I got them off and my orthodontist was like, your teeth turned out beautiful!, but you do have some stains.. but he scraped them off and now I don't have any.. but just remember to wear your retainer every night.. I have only forgotten to wear mine one time since I have had them off in august and my teeth are straight as can be! wear your retainer, brush good, and you should be fine. (:
