How can i get the boy i like to pay attention to me?

Everything changed since I started middle school and high. I got into boys somehow and I sorta love them. I have a crush on one and my friend which used to be his girlfriend doesn't mind . How can I get his attention and not my friends?

Just show him a little more attention, make eyes at him, flirt with him innocently and see how he reacts, if he starts flirting back you have him in the bag! and ask him to hang out outside of school and get his number!
