How to stop being bored and have fun?

I'm always bored. I have a lot of homework all the time and a lot of the time I get distracted by the tv so I wait till the last minute to do my homework. I want to do my homework right when I get home but I have nothing to do afterwards. I'm tired of...

watching tv, but I have no friends that live around me or to go to and I have no transportation anyway. my family is extremely poor but I love spending time with the whole family even though most of them live in different states. my mom has anger issues so I usually can't stay in my house for long. help me I want to have fun again instead of staying inside and gaining weight. :-(

Another thing to consider is after school activities. If you do them it will both keep you away from home and your angry mom, AND you will naturally be meeting new people. These new people and you will have a natural thing to talk about.
Also, your Mother's anger may be because she feels bad about where you both are in life. All good parents want the best for their children, and feel frustrated when it isn't as good as they want. Try to remember that she loves you.

Why, don't you do your homework as soon as you get home and get it out of the way, then you can get on the computer and play games or else find something to read or maybe find a penpal on FunAdvice. There is lots to do. Also if you want to get away from your mom for awhile take a walk . Make this a daily walk and lose weight while enjoying the great outdoors. You could also write letters to your family who are away. I just can't imagine being bored. I don't have enough hours in the day to do what I want to do. Do you have any friends that you can call even if you can't go to their house, you can touch base w/them.
