Bloodz and cripz what is the difference?

What is the difference between a blood and a crip? I know bloods wear red and crips wear blure, but that's it. People in school keep on going on about it, but I have no clue, please help!

Yea I really don't appreciate having any kind of gangs and well this gang ruined my colors for me I used to wear blue and red on a reg basis just plains and with designs and now I can't wear them at the risk of getting shot so yea pretty much gangs ruin everything and if you're thinking of becoming a banger or even posing as one don't do it because you will be an imbecile for doing it.Just think of your family crying over your grave so serioously for your family's sake don't pose as a banger or anything like that just don't get involved in that.

wow ignorant dosent even begin to describe it...although there have been many meeting with both of these gangs to stop the violence between them...most just leave it how it is...I personally dont like gangs havin been in one my self at one point tho I understand why people do it.but its dangerous and completely retarded
oh I belive that tuki williams(founder of the crips)and sum other guy in them dissputed so the other guy dropped out and founded the bloods thus this battle began.

well the crips were started as a sub-division of the black panthers to protect blacks in the 60's in LA they took over smaller gangs in south central LA. The bloods formed after smaller street gangs got tired of being pushed around by the crips so the smaller gangs formed up and called themselfs the Pirus (piru), a street in compton. The piru wore blue in the beginning just like crips but adapted to the opposite color of blue which is red hence the name bloods emerged. All the violence that has been pertrayed in the movies didnt start untill the early 80's when a newer cheaper form of cocaine hit the streets called crack which brought on violence like no one had ever seen.

Also they dont kill each other based on color but what hoods you have crip on crip violence is just as bloody as blood vs crip so within an orgnization they have situations were you might have to kill another crip or blood its all about territory

I don't know my brother and all his friends are Cripz. I really hate that he is in a gang since he is only 13 but I can't stop him. If you were to ask me I guess I would be a Crip too. My moms friend who is now a living with us and she is a Blood. We all live under the same roof and have no problems. So I don't know why they have to fight. Thats the one thing I don't get. Well I guess I can't stop it but anyway, It is what it is and we all just have to get over that fact.
