Okay, my dog is At The Vets!! and has been for 3 days, they thought it might be parvo... They said they wait itll they see the blood and that to make sure it is parvo... right.. so hes not been eating or drinking hes not deehirgrating yet.. he keeps...

being sick !! and has the runs ( when I brang him in) right.. so to day.. the vets rang, and said there Was BLOOD in he's poo - but a BIG Worm Came out too!!... When they touch him he yelps Expsecialy on he's belly. - hes got a high temperture and hes glands are up. and he is pretty depressed - he doesnt play or anything..

what would you think the chances our of it being Parvo or an Worm thing??
Because they didnt say what the chances is :/ they just said it could be both!! that we just have to wait!!

Wearen't vets, we can't tell you.
As long as he's there, he's in good care.
Just wait until the vet has more information.
I know you're worried about your dog, but there's nothing more you can do.

do that not have the parvo test? We do at work, it only takes 8 min to run and it will let you know if the pup is parvo postive.. I would say it sounds like parvo, however this does not mean that the puppy still can't have worms,
Are the give him fluid?
I would ask that they do a parvo test and a stool check to test for intestial parisites or worms.
What are the treating him for right now? Are they giving him supportive care?
I am glad you have him at the vet hospital but it does not sound like they are giving many answers.

I'm with Harley...I've never heard of a Parvo test taking several days to run...I've never heard either, of a stool sample not being done right away, with results right away...

You've got a very sick baby, and I'm glad to hear you took him into the Vets for supportive care...Unless the worm infestation is so huge that his immune system is compromised, then the fever is an infection of some kind. Worms can wreck havoc on the digestive system, and make a pup unthrifty...but they normally don't cause infection.

Remember too, if he's had some of his puppy shots, that Parvo can come in degrees...where he has some immunity, but not enough to keep the virus completely at bay...

Is this your new Bulldog pup??

Well, having an appetite is a good sign...even if he threw up...It's just one of those wait and see things...

Parvo gets brought in on the shoes of visitors, workman...there's a million ways for it to get into your yard...even flies...
