magick is the occult spelling of a spiritual belief/occult and I have no idea about blood oaths are except for letting you know as someone who practices medicine to please practice taking your blood oaths in hygenic/controlled conditions if at all.

well any 'magick' that has to do with blood is considered black magick. so a blood oath would most likely fall under that category :]

That would be filed under 'I am a stupid tourist please take advantage of me' anything with binding, body parts, or fluids can't be that great for you.

I don't think a blood oath is actually part of magick.

Hunay She is not talking about slide of hand ( Magic ) She is talking about witchcraft, sorcery, Shamanism (Magick) they are two differant things.
A blood oath is a pact , And is not standardly used in magick except in a few newer nontraditional covens and are not very affective. Blood is actually used in several types of spells that are no considered black magic such as Sealing spells and some love spells.
The only place I find Blood oath that is not a title to a book or something is in connection with the Latter day saints.
and if someone says it is a blood pact. . . .That originated with world of warcraft.

It's pretty much a spell-castery of some sort way of making a deal and shaking hands over it, except you're sharing blood or something of the sort rather than shaking hands. (Not trading blood but mixing blood in a ceremonial bowl or other objects of the type. I have some Vague knowledge of what you MIGHT mean, but unless you specify then such will probably never be known.
