Blood in vomit

Im bulimic(for ten months now)...recently I have found blood in my vomit...
Is it serious or could it be that I just scratched the back of my throat??

Being bulimic causes serious complications all throughout your body, you need to see a doctor and a counselor about your eating disorder.

well it depends
if your throat throbs randomly at times and hurts...
then it might be because of irritation to the throat.
... but it may also be stomach acid burning and scratching the skin of your throat because you didnt barf quick enough after you had ate... so I don't know

They are all right, you should visit the doctor or go to the hospital..Blood in your vomit can be very serious and dangerous...It can be just your throat but it's better to play it safe...hope this helps...

Could be something very serious - see your Doctor asap !!

your esophagus isn't as fit to handle acid as your stomach is...everytime you induce vomitting, all that acid basically burns your esophagus. Eventually your cells can change in your esophagus to accomodate for this acid, and eventually (later in life) your are at a high risk for esophageal cancer. It could very well be that you are bleeding somewhere. If it hurts at all that could mean theres a tear.

if you're purging regularly the chances are it's serious.
you've got to see a dr and get help.
