How often should i get my roots done with highlights?

hi I have just had blonde streaks does anybody know how often I will need to get my roots done? how often do you? please xxxxxxxxxxx

When you get your whole head colored than it's easy to touch up the roots, but if you get highlights, it's virtually impossible for a stylist to do touch-ups, therefore you must process the entire strand. Watch next time your stylist gives you highlights -- thousands of strands get color while thousands do not. Simply touching up roots would give you an uneven look.

They'll probably want to touch up your entire streaks to make you even. This will be done depending on how fast your hair grows, for me about a month.

Usually once every 2-3 months, depending on how fast your hair grows and what color it is. Some people's highlights (especially those with light hair) can hang in for about 3-4 months before they need the highlights redone.

While we are highlighting, we select a section of hair and weave through it, trying to pick up as much of the already highlighted hair as we can. Stick with the same stylist each highlighting, she will use the same patterns and do the same.
