Is bleaching your hair bad?

Is bleaching your hair realy bad?
Because I want to bleach mine but I don't want to ruin my hair...

Depends on the condition of your hair, I guess.

Some of mine is bleached.
As long as your hair is healthy and you use a good conditioner, you should be okay.

any chemical treatment will damage hair, but there are ways to counteract it with conditioners and products. I'm sure it's not horrible, but don't quote me on it. Personally, I say carpe diem! Your young, go for it! Hair is hair!

I dont know if it's bad. but bleaching your hair sounds vad

yeah it is. it takes all the oils out of your hair.. which you need them to grow your hair.
sure dont get me wrong, your hair deffinitly will grow still. but your hair will be very damaged.

I did it to my hair once, and its grown about 3 inches since. and I did that to my hair about a year ago. :/

yes, it will damage your hair no matter how long its in there for
it will make it dryer and more course and rough
so it wont be as smooth and silky as it probably is now
the longer its in there for, the more damge it does
heat like from a blowdryer quickens the bleaching process and limits the amount of time you need to have it in for
an easy thing to do is get it done profesionally first
that way you can watch how its done and ask questions and get tips
so when you do it yourself youll be more prepared and know how to do it

of course its bad. it gets thinner and dries up. and falls out.

Box bleach is very horrible for your hair. peroxide isn't
as bad. if you do that once to lighten it, and then if
it isn't the way you want it exactly wait two weeks about
and then do it again.
