How can I explain s*x to my 11-year-old sister?

My little sis wants to know what s*x is. (Our mom died when we were little) she is only 11. What should I tell her?

Your sister should have known the concept a long time ago...but now that she is 11 she will have a great understanding of what it is. Go to the library and find a book that is age appropriate. The librarian will be able to help you here. She should know the proper names for all body parts and know how a child is conceived. Make sure to tell her about the woman menstrual cycle and what she should be prepared for. At 11 she may have already heard wrong information from the streets. So be specific and truthful.

its something two people do when they love each other do. you can tell her more about it when she is a little older maybe 15

just explain it to her like shes a bit older. if she doesnt understand, tell her she will soon. if she complains, good luck, I cant help you past that point.
